Pawsitive Approach offers only private walks ensuring personal attention and lots of interactive playtime for your pet. In the interest of your best friend, Pawsitive Approach Pet Services Inc. has an on leash policy.
Upon returning home your dog's outerwear, if applicable, will be removed. If needed, the dog is wiped down with a towel and a quick brushing will be done to remove any of the loose dirt or moisture in order to reduce the incidence of tracking it through your home. We will also ensure that your buddy has fresh water. We ensure your ongoing satisfaction through communication reports left for you where progress and any remarkable details of the adventures your dog has had during the walk will be recorded for your review. Our commitments to you are outlined in a service agreement. Yes, we'd be happy to walk the dog while you enjoy a day out now and then.

Pawsitive Approach offers daily visits to your home or overnight stays while you are out of town. We take the Pawsitive Approach to pet care providing flexible, customized services for you and your pets to ensure the individual needs of each are met. Upon your return we will provide you with a detailed journal.
If you are away for more than a day you might ake advantage of our free household services including having the mail and papers brought inside, the plants watered or outdoor feeders filled. The lights or window dressings can be adjusted to give a more lived-in appearance, reducing the likelihood of a break-in.

Dog waste can carry diseases and viruses and should never be left to break down into the earth, contaminating the surface area, the soil and eventually the nearby water supply. Often pets, wildlife and people share the same play area. Hence the need for pet waste cleanup.
Love your dog but not the mess? We pick up what your dog left behind. Come home to a clean, sanitary yard. Your pet waste specialist will leave a "Scoop on Poop" card noting any concerns to assist you in monitoring the health of your pet. All equipment and footwear is disinfected after each use to further help protect the health of your pet.
Why hire a Pet Waste Specialist?
Pawsitive Approach Pet Services Inc. offers a delivery service. The service provider, upon receipt of an order, will go to the supplier of the client's choice and purchase pet foods or supplies delivering them to the pet owner's home. A large bag of dog food can be very heavy for some individuals to manage or the client may not have transportation, be ill or just too busy for such chores. The client is expected to reimburse the deliverer upon receipt of the products.
There are times when a horse owner must take time from their barn chores. For some it is difficult to find someone experienced and reliable to care for these extraordinary animals. It can be expensive to hire staff to care for the horses and barn in the event you must be away.
Now you can enjoy your time away with the comfort of knowing that an experienced Pawsitive Approach Equine Enthusiast is caring for your animals. Our qualified care giver will feed the horses in the morning, turn them out to their designated paddocks, check the water troughs, clean and fill the water buckets, muck the stalls laying new bedding if needed and of course give loads of individual attention and affection to each member of the barn. Evening chores may include returning the horses to their stalls, feeding them and performing a basic wellness check. Of course we will sweep up the aisles and lock up. You may also request additional services or Farm Sitting.
Have a special needs horse? Not a problem. The equine care provider will first meet with you at the barn for a FREE 45-minute consultation. This will give you the opportunity to go over any special instructions and see the care provider interact with your horses. During this half hour you are asked to give a tour of the facilities and introduce each of the horses, discussing their temperaments and individual requirements. These detailed instructions will be recorded for the equine enthusiast to follow carefully in your absence. A detailed journal is provided you upon your return, outlining the notable or fun events that occurred during their absence.
You may request that the Pet Care Professional spend more time at the barn providing additional services such as blanketing the horses, applying sunscreen or wrapping legs. Pawsitive Approach can also provide upon request, services such as cleaning hooves, walking a sore horse by lead, applying ointment, making special diet preparations or following therapeutic regiments like magnetic therapy.
Is your house on the same farm? Our Pet Care Professional would be happy to bring your mail in for you and even water your indoor plants. We can adjust your lighting as well as your window dressings to help give the house a more "lived in" look. Don't forget we offer Live In services as well.
Oh, and don't worry about the barn cats or waterfowl. Show us where you keep the food and we will be happy to feed them each day as well, free of charge.

No need to miss out on much needed vacations. Allow us to provide the care your animals need. Whether you just need us to do the morning chores or spend the night, Pawsitive Approach Pet Services Inc. will be there so you don't have to be.
Whether your pet has to get to a veterinarian or grooming appointment, attend daycare or get to and from the airport, Pawsitive Approach Pet Services Inc. will lovingly take your pet in style. Our temperature controlled mini van will accommodate even the largest dog comfortably. Life is busy these days and there are times when pet parents do not have the luxury of time or the transportation to carry a pet to an appointment. Some people simply don't want the hair in their own vehicle.
Breeders find this service useful in delivering newly purchased pets. We can even help if you are moving in or out of province and need transportation for your pets. Often our pet shuttle is used to transport ill pets to Guelph Animal Hospital for procedures. You might even come along for the ride to comfort your pet while we do the driving.
We will accompany your pet into the vet's office if you are unavailable and return them to you safely with a full veterinarian report. For the protection of your cat or dog, a crate or pet seatbelt is used to transport your pet. In the best interest of your pets and all others, we do not transport any pets that have fleas; please have your pets on a flea prevention plan.
The pet shuttle can be combined with any of our other pet care services in order to provide you and your pet with worry free care.
Allow us to relieve some of your stress. We will pick up your companion animals, transport them to the airport and stay with them until they board the plane safely. If you need them picked up from the airport we are happy to accommodate.
